Richard Garner, the founder of BreakThrough Fitness, was inspired to create this program after a transformative career shift. Born in Charleston, raised in California, and later relocating to Texas, Richard spent many years working in the IT industry while also teaching martial arts as a holder of the prestigious 7th Dan Black Belt in American Tae Kwon Do. His passion for health and fitness eventually led him to become a Certified Personal Trainer and open his own gym. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Richard had to transition to remote coaching via Zoom. This change enabled him to reach and support clients across the country while adding to their convenience of staying at home. Through BreakThrough Fitness, Richard has successfully helped over 400 individuals reclaim their health and develop sustainable fitness habits.
